Dear Neighbor:
Thank you for visiting my website. I look forward to working with you to grow our economy, protect the most vulnerable among us and ensure the healthy, vibrant lifestyle we enjoy as Californians is nurtured and expanded.
As a candidate for the 62nd Assembly District, I encourage you to be in touch as I want to hear your concerns, ideas and suggestions regarding our community, the region and our state. I am running for Assembly to focus on legislation that reflects my values. If elected, I will continue to fight for environmental and consumer protections, equality for all, and safe and healthy lives for our seniors and those who have served this country. I pledge my continued commitment to giving a voice to the unheard.
I have lived in the 62nd District for over twenty years and am proud of the diversity, opportunity and ingenuity that is the cornerstone of this district. By working together to harness our strengths and capitalize on our unique backgrounds and experience, we will accomplish great things.
I hope you will join with me to advocate for strong schools and bright futures for our children, for clean water and toxic-free communities, for opportunity no matter your economic, cultural, gender or sexual orientation, and for the incredible possibility that is contained within the 62nd Assembly District.
In hope and strength,

The best part of being a member of a community is being able to work with a wide range of people and organizations to address the needs and desires that can enhance that community.
It has been an honor to work with the Mayor of Torrance, Frank Scotto, and other area leaders in securing open space to be used as soccer fields, right in the middle of the city square! On April 2nd, I was thrilled to be invited to attend the lease signing ceremony of this incredible opportunity. Much appreciation to the Chief Justice of California, Tani Cantil-Sakuaye, the State of California, the County of Los Angeles, Rudy Jimenez and many other members of the community.
Another project in the community that has been exciting to see come to fruition is the cleaning, updating and replacement of the lighting in the tunnel on Sepulveda Blvd. that goes under the runway at Los Angeles Airport. If you have driven through the tunnel lately, hopefully you noticed how much cleaner and brighter the tunnel is, therefore making your trip safer and more enjoyable. Thank you to Los Angeles City Councilman Bill Rosendahl and the numerous agencies involved in this project. The tunnel is scheduled to be completed in July 2013.
Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Tree Musketeers annual tree planting in El Segundo on March 9th. An impressive group of youth and community leaders gathered again this year to improve sustainability and beautify their neighborhood having now planted over 1800 trees since Tree Musketeers was organized in 1987. Thank you for investing in our planet and I look forward to seeing you next year!
It was great to march with more than 1000 environmentalists from around the county on February 17th. Special thanks to the Sierra Club, Food and Water Watch and Tar Sands Action SoCal for organizing the march and moving us “Forward on Climate.” It is an honor to work with great leaders like Ed Begley Jr. on investing in and utilizing truly renewable resources.
Thank you to everyone who participated and your commitment to the planet.
